今日で６月も終わり。
今年も半分過ぎた訳か。早いなぁ。
今年の梅雨明けはいつ頃になるのかな。


うちの父ゴルゴのお友達に、Hさんという人がいる。
Hさんは面白いおじさんで、
自分が興味をもったり、面白いと思うものを
とことん追究する。
だから色んな知識が豊富で、話しも面白いんだけど
多分、周りの人達からは
“変わり者”だと思われてるだろうな。
人目というものを全く気にしないタイプの人だ。

このHさんが、うちの母に
ある写真を持って来てくれた。
白いレンゲ草の写真だ。



普通に見る、ピンク色のレンゲの中に
たまに白いのが混じってたりすることがあるけど、
Hさんはその白いレンゲ同士をかけ合わせて
真っ白な花しか咲かないレンゲを
８年かけて作ったんだそうだ。


↑ こういう感じでたまに見かけることがある。


そして、作ってからもう10年ほどたつので
安定して白い花をつける、とのこと。
「一株下さい！」
と言ってみたけど聞き流された。
そうだわなぁ。
来年の春には、少し広い範囲に種をまくと言っていた。
見に行かなくちゃ。
楽しみだなぁ。


こういう楽しみがあると
時間が経つのが早いのも悪くないな。
